Forrest Gump was the anti Christ. Everything good in his life, everything, came as a result of the direct suffering, pain, and tribulation of others. He walked in a seemingly benign cloak through an unaware and unprepared society and spread misery, suffering, and agony in his wake, then sat on a park bench and spouted forth the pithy banalities he’d drawn forth from the blistered backs of the damned. He was, and remains, the face of true evil in the world.
