I recently spent two weeks relaxing on vacation in the tropical paradise of Jamaica. Regretfully, while I was away, the decision to run the Jan. 27 column that called you “the fine, upstanding morons of High River” was made.

First and foremost, let me apologize to everyone in High River and area on behalf of all the staff at the High River Times. We do not in any way think people here are morons. You are valued readers, cherished clients and wonderful neighbours and friends. Please don’t let one piece of questionable material smear the many decades of a great relationship that has been built between all of you and the Times.
